African wild dogs, also known as painted wolves, are a fascinating and endangered species thriving in the expansive Kafue National Park, particularly around McBrides' Camp. These social and highly territorial animals are known for their striking multi-colored coats, distinctive large rounded ears, and strong pack dynamics. At McBrides' Camp, visitors have the unique opportunity to observe these elusive creatures within their natural habitat. The camp offers guided safaris where guests can witness the wild dogs hunting cooperatively in packs, using their exceptional stamina and communication skills to outmaneuver larger prey. Conservation efforts in the park focus on protecting these remarkable animals, ensuring their continued presence in Zambia's largest and oldest national park.

Rain ☔ in Livingstone in June ..... NEVER!
What do you do when you are on a game drive in Mosi O Tunya National Park - Zambia with clients and the heavens open?
IMPROVISE.... find the biggest most beautiful Mahogany Tree, use one of the blankets for any rain drops that might make it through the thick foliage and then pour a steaming hot cup of coffee ☕OH! and dont forget the rusks.
Fortunatley it didnt last long and soon the sun was shining in all her glory and just to top it off we saw - buffalo, hippo, waterbuck, impala, warthog, bush buck, giraffe, zebra, a huge herd of elephants and then did the 'finale" with a walk with the Rhinos 🦏
