Infact in our view, Siavonga has the makings of being Zambia's mini Cape Town, we are 100% confident that Siavonga will be the capital of DOMESTIC TOURISM in Zambia within the next 5- 10 years. A beautiful simple idea, that came back life for a rebirth 4-5 months ago! Do you remember us talking about idea/vision for "one Destination" ?

We are now not just talking, but literally DOING the vision we had set out. Here's a recap of what our vision was, and a a vision of the future.....

RECAP....
OZOD is an idea I created in 2015, my wish at the time was to simply promote Zambia to the world through a digital travel app. I can safely say I got half way there....
However it's only later, in practice that I also came to appreciate that this is not really possible, unless it's done right. Step by Step, through domestic tourism first, then later to the world πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡²

I'm going back in the ring, this time instead of focusing my energy and time on promoting the entirety of Zambia as I did before, I shall focus on "ONE Destination" in Zambia, exactly as it says on the tin, one Zambia, ONE Destination!

Making a difference isn't easy, I tried it once and this time I'll do it right, my way! It will be people focused, content driven, and most importantly practical! I'm confident with 'One Destination' we will be more solution based, and financially more viable for all stakeholders which includes both the traveller and the tourism attractions.

We are going to take domestic tourism by STORM!!! This time we will make a difference, one destination at a time πŸ₯‚

This is where things really start to become intresting, simply because a vision that is successful in practice, and doing better than expected at this early stage, without a single financial investment put is very exciting. We have our finger on the pulse, we know almost everything about Siavonga, even to the point of knowing availability of each and every lodge. Nobody else has this infomation, in one place! We even have an idea of the number of visitors that come in each weekend! So in short we have the data, now we are ready to take things to the next level as "one destination". Our core values to engage local tourism from the bottom level going up has proven to be the correct solution and I hope we can encourage and invite entrepreneurs to Join us to discuss joint ventures and partnerships for 2022!

As a finish note, remember to always have a vision first. Then focus all your energy, time and effort to turn that vision into reality.
