🚨 Exciting News for Travelers & Tour Operators! 🚨

The Bank of Zambia has officially announced the introduction of a new family of Zambian currency, set to be launched on March 31, 2025.

💰 What’s Changing?
The updated currency will include:
🔹 Six banknotes: K500, K200, K100, K50, K20, and K10
🔹 Six coins: K5, K2, K1, 50N, 10N, and 5N

📢 What This Means for Travel & Tourism
For those in the travel and tourism industry, this update presents an opportunity to:
✅ Stay informed to guide international travelers on currency usage. We shall no longer be accepting cash payments starting 12 February 2025, all payments shall be made via swiping , MTN or Airtel money
✅ We aim to Educate guests and clients on the transition to ensure a smooth experience.
