So here are a few tips that you need to make sure as you travel into Zimbabwe from South Africa via Beitbridge.

1. Carry the original vehicle registration book and an affidavit if you not the vehicle owner.

The vehicle must be accompanied by someone who has at least the Zimbabwe/South Africa Exemption permit

2. Keep your Zimborders parking and paid access coupons safe. Do not damage the [Quick Response] QR code as it will be scanned at every point as you complete the processes in the Border.

3. Have the following amounts of money
* USD28 for Sedan/Suv without trailers paid to Zimborders
*USD10 Beitbridge fee paid to Zinara
*USD50 for Temporary Import Permit paid to Zimra

Key notes
1. Loads that exceed standard trailer size (overloading) may change your route to commercial sites)
2. Commuter omnibuses ( 8 seater and above] pay USD41 at private terminal

3. Private vehicles registered outside Zimbabwe pay USD83 if they meet points 1 and 2 above.
