Marondera is a town located in northeastern Zimbabwe. It originated in 1890 as a rest house on the road from Harare to Mutare and was named after Marondera, chief of the ruling Barozwi people.

Victoria Falls is a town located in western Zimbabwe and home to one of the 7 wonders of the world, a waterfall of the same name. The town has attained a reputation as a global tourism destination hosting world-class festivals and having some of Africa’s best resorts.

Here, the Zambezi River plummets over a cliff and into the Boiling Pot before flowing through a series of gorges. The Devil’s Pool, a natural infinity pool, is on the edge of a sheer drop. Spanning the river is the Victoria Falls Bridge. The surrounding Zambezi National Park is home to white rhinos and elephants.

Kariba is a town located in northern Zimbabwe. The town is a gateway to Lake Kariba which is known for its houseboats, hippos and tiger fish. The Kariba Heights lookout offers panoramic views of the lake where numerous resorts provide a broad selection of accommodation.

Surrounding Kariba, the Charara Safari Area is home to elephants and buffalo giving tourists a chance to see wildlife through a safari drive.

The city is located close to Lake Mutirikwi, the Kyle dam and National Reserve where a diverse species of animals is found.

Mutare has long been a centre of trade and a key terminus enroute to the port of Beira, Mozambique. It is a hub for trade with railway links, pipeline transport and highways linking the coast with Harare and the interior.

Other traditional industries include timber, papermaking, commerce, food processing, telecommunications, and transportation. In addition, the city serves as a gateway to the scenic Eastern Highlands.

The capital of Midlands Province, Gweru is a city located in the centre of Zimbabwe. The area is originally known to the Ndebele as "The Steep Place" because of the Gweru River's high banks.

A fast-growing city it is home to the Military Museum and the Midlands State University.

Congratulations to the Zimbabwe Cricket Chevrons for their 5-wicket victory over Bangladesh today at Harare Sports Club.

The match drew a large crowd which witnessed an outstanding overall cricket performance. A phenomenal batting display from the man of the match Sikander Raza and captain Regis Chakabva helped the team surpass the 290 total set by Bangladesh for the win.

A fine display of batting by Sikandar Raza and Innocent Kaia led to 2 centuries from each batter which guided the Chevrons to victory.🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼

Bulawayo is the second largest city in the country located in the southwest region of Zimbabwe. It is a passage to the Matobo National Park, home of the Matobo Hills rock formations, Stone Age cave art, and wildlife such as rhinos, and black eagles.

The second most populous city in Zimbabwe, Bulawayo developed rapidly as an engineering and manufacturing centre. It is also famous for its cultural heritage, housing the Natural History Museum of Zimbabwe.

Harare is the capital city of Zimbabwe and also boasts of being the economic hub of the country. The city is home to many iconic landmarks such as the Zimbabwean Parliament building, the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, the National Heroes Acre, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe as well as the National Sports Stadium.

It is a city imbued with diversity from the leafy suburbs of Borrowdale in the north to the breathtaking granite balancing rocks of Epworth in the southeast of the city. It is home to a radiant population and wildlife such as the zebras and giraffes which roam Mukuvisi Woodlands.
