Ideal for Family Houseboat trips, Taipan is a pontoon houseboat with 3 cabins with double beds. Each Cabin opens out over the lake giving you an un- obstructed view as you wake up in the morning. Lower deck has a deep freeze for frozen food and ice as well as a chiller for vegetables and other perishables. On the top deck behind the bar area is another deep freeze for drinks. The boat has 2 toilet
s and 2 showers, the inside shower has a gas geyser for hot water. When the generator is turned off in the evening there is an inverter system that powers the plug points for fans in the rooms, charging devices, etc. Lights throughout the boat are powered by LED and run off a 12volt system. There is a 6 plate DEFY gas stove with oven in the kitchen as well as a CADAC gas braai on the top deck for clients who wish to have a braai. There is a pontoon tender boat for fishing, game drives, etc. The tender boat is only to be operated by the houseboat captain. Crew consists of the houseboat Captain as well as a cook come deckhand. Prices are $300 per day during off peak season and $350 per day during peak season, and are based on a DRY boat basis.
