The Mana Pools National Park is a unique and beautiful place to visit, with its diverse wildlife, stunning sunsets, and opportunities for camping. The park is home to over 350 bird species, 29 species of large mammals, and around 16,000 buffalos, 12,000 elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and hippos. Hwange National Park, which is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. The park is home to more than 100 mammal species, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Hwange is also famous for its huge herds of elephants, which number in the thousands. The Matobo Hills are home to more than 2,000 San rock paintings, which date back as far as 13,000 years. Some of the paintings depict animals, hunting scenes, and spiritual figures. One of the most famous paintings is in the "White Rhino Cave", which shows a white rhino surrounded by hunters. Another interesting fact is that the name "Matobo" comes from the Ndebele word "Matobo", which means "bald heads". This refers to the many granite boulders that dot the landscape.
