Hats off to this restocking effort in the Matusadona Nation Park with the relocation of 223 Zebra from the Bubi Valley Conservancy. This large game translocation is part of a long-term plan to help restore Matusadona’s wildlife population. Through the joint effort of Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, African parks, Bubi Valley Conservancy, The Dhanam Foundation and Mr. Neil Harvey this was made possible.

After comprehensive studies four distinct species with five subspecies have been identified.
1) Masai giraffe
2) Northern giraffe
3) Reticulated giraffe
4) Southern giraffe

🐱Cheetah can reach max speed of +-112km per hour.
🐱Running with long strides, one stride can be as long as 7 meters and can do 3.5 strides per second which is 24.5 meters a second.

Happy international vulture awareness day. Often miss understood but these birds play a vital role in the ecosystem. Feeding only on carrion they are the cleanup crew of the bush. When feeding, can fill their crops in about 2minutes with around 1.4kgs of food.
