I'm Michelle, pictured here with my husband, David. We have both been in the travel industry for a number of years. With that, we have put our expertise together to bring you Moses Adventures, which showcases Zimbabwe through our eyes and adventures! 🤓🇿🇼 Come along for the ride with us!

Orange Elephants 🍊🐘

Between May and September is the citrus season in Zimbabwe. The oranges that are unfit for human consumption, get put down for elephants and other animals every day in season. You can watch them and have dinner with this view! Stay at Nottingham Retreat or Kuduland, which are on the same property. 🐾

Chongololos 🐛 Have you seen them?
"Chongololo" is the common name for a millipede in Southern Africa. They come out in the rainy season as they love the moisture that the rains bring. It looks like they have a thousand legs, yet, each body segment has four legs, which move in a wave-like motion, as you'll see in the video. 〰️

This guy was first found in our house, until we rehomed him to a more suitable environment ☺️🌱

'Tis the season to remember the reason why we celebrate Christmas ✝️🌿👑

As much as it's a joyous occasion, we remember those who are working to provide for their families, the healthcare providers, guards, those who've lost their loved ones, and those on their own with family far away, and so many more ❤️

May this season be filled with gratitude, love, laughter and wonderful memories ✨

One thing you'll get to know about me, Michelle, is that I love beautiful flowers, and when time slows down as you soak in a moment--like this one. Sometimes all we need is a trip into our garden to find the beauty inside it. 🐾 World Pangolin Day! Last year we had the privilege of meeting the beautiful Marimba at Wild Is Life Experience! 😊 Just a couple of facts we found interesting were; • they have a long sticky tongue that is as long as it's body • when they are threatened, they curl up into an impenetrable ball • their scales are keratin, just like our human nails! • they walk on their back legs and manage to balance themselves • they are one of the rarest animals to see as they don't leave imprints when they walk Thanks for following us! 🤗 #YourGuideThroughTheWilderness #MosesAdventures #TravelZimbabwe #worldpangolinday
