Sadly we have not seen our second Daka Pride male in over ten days now. The first male ‘disappeared’ into Matetsi in late April. Not sure what will happen with the eight cubs but a coalition takeover seems imminent sadly!

Tented Expeditions offers its guests a very intimate and private tented safari experience. The camp is a mobile seasonal one, carefully put up for each private booking with the feel of a bygone style of African adventure and travel under canvas – Ambience and nostalgia of a classic safari period blends with all the comforts of a modern day journey.

Any stay in our camp will be accompanied by one of Zimbabwe’s top Professional Guides who will ensure that the guests will know and understand the meaning of a ‘Hemingway experience’. Immersed in a true wilderness surrounding, activities will include both walking safaris and game drives.

As a team we have put years of experience into an emphasis and focus on what is important in a classic tented camp – location, style, comfort, ambience, great food, genuine and approachable staff and last but not least, some of the best professional guiding on the continent.
