Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage wishes all a Happy Easter. We are open today (Sunday 21st) and tomorrow (Monday 22nd) from 8.00am with our ticket office closing at 4.30pm. The carnivores will be fed today (Sunday) at 3.30pm. Please feel free to bring your picnic baskets and come relax in our tranquil tea gardens. Our charges are $5 per adult and $4 per child. Amazing sighting yesterday and how lucky we were. No photos unfortunately as no-one brought their camera on the boat. AMATEUR MISTAKE!!! Lara spotted it against a cliff face in the water. It was lone otter catching and eating crabs and could hear the crunching of the shells as we drifted close by. It never got out the water, so we could not tell what s*x it was, but we did get close to him as he came towards us to investigate what we were before disappearing under the water only to pop up far from us. Watch this space..........next time a photo or video. Lower Ncema Dam has NO crocodiles and it is safe to swim and water-ski. You don't have to know how to ski for this tour as a master coach will equip and coach you and you will enjoy the experience. There is a slalom course for the more accomplished and a raft cruise where there is opportunity that you will see Leguaan, Baboon, Monkey or the rare Wild Otter which have been living at the dam since it was built in 1953.

From the tireless efforts of volunteers at Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage with lions, cheetahs, reptiles, primates and birds of prey to the grandeur of Matobo Hills with its balancing rocks, precious Rhinoceros and Rhodes Grave. See the ancient wonders of Khami Ruins, cave paintings up to 10 000 years old or have a guided tour of the Railway or Natural History Museums. Finish it off with a coffee or Gin and Tonic at the elegant Nesbitt Castle or cultured Bulawayo Club the hidden gems of the city.

For the real adventurous take an educated shuttle from Harare into the mystical eastern highlands for a round of golf at Leopard Rock, over the Birchenough Bridge in Masvingo, past the diamond operation at Marange where you can take a dip at Hot Springs, meander around The Great Zimbabwe, water ski in Bulawayo and safari through Hwange National Park up to the mighty Victoria Falls where the clouds thunder!!
