Batoka Gorge RAFTING and EXPLORING!

If you fancy a rafting trip, one day OR a MULTI Day rafting experience the Zambezi is the only choice. This entry and exit to Zambezi’s famous rapids is just the start… 25 + rapids and of course, a grade 6 river means the exercise up and down we locals do and the rafting is a very tough day’s work.. or a few days of work. 😄

Thank you for taking us on our safe and wonderful rafting trips and amongst those days, letting us explore the rapids.

My first rafting trip I was 14 years old and I have not let up since then!

Native to the Pacific Coast and the Galápagos Islands, the blue-footed b***y is a master diver, catching fish with precision. But it's their bright blue webbed feet that steal the show!
These feet are not just for paddling; males use them in courtship displays, lifting and lowering them to attract mates. The male's high-stepping dance and the female's judgment of his moves make for a charming spectacle.

So welcome to the daily wildlife we experience as locals in Victoria Falls! The town is also a national park, allowing lots of wildlife to move freely within it. Daily sightings include baboons, warthogs, vervet monkeys, bush babies, elephants, and impala, and there was even a rogue leopard that wandered in but left to return to the thick bush some time back! It's a wonderful life living among these creatures, witnessing them trot past the gate, and then wander freely into the bush near our homes. It's a true privilege to boat onto the Zambezi in the afternoon and see hippos, crocodiles, numerous elephants, and amazing birdlife.
