These coming November 9 and 10, Ordino becomes the capital of gastronomy with the 32nd edition of the Mostra Gastronòmica d'Andorra i Pirineus. There will be tastings and workshops at the Gastro Lab and you can go shopping and tasting at the Ordino Gourmet stalls where there will be several local and km0 producers Bon appétit in Ordino! 😋

This past weekend has marked 4 years since UNESCO declared OrdinoUnesco Biodiversity Biosphere Reserve. Being a Biosphere Reserve distinguishes Ordino for combining nature with economic growth, authenticity, traditions and the future. It is bet for the sustainable development of the parish and a path to be shared with all those who visit us and enjoy all our natural spaces. You are all welcome!

Do you know why there were 23 flour mills in Ordino? Discover it by following the route of the flour mills with the guide Inka Bellés who will take you back to the 17th and 18th centuries to discover how and why they worked. The guided tour includes a tasting of cakes and breads made with different flours at the end of the route in Santa Bàrbara. The route is done on foot and the return trip by the parish bus.

Located on the Ruta del Ferro, Alberto Carneiro's "A Casa da Terra e do Fogo" does not look like a sculpture and many visitors believe it is the remains of a borda. But it is an extraordinary work that combines the 16 birches around an open house with stone walls in the middle of which lays the iron transformed into a cube. It is a gigantic mandala that takes us to the heart of the earth in search of the secrets of human achievements.

The church of Sant Martí de la Cortinada is one of the Romanesque jewels in Andorra. Built in the 12th century with extensions from the 17th and 18th centuries, it preserves in its interior delicate murals by the master of La Cortinada that date from the end of the 12th century, and a set of 4 baroque altarpieces from the 18th century among other wonders. Throughout October and November you can visit it for free Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 2pm and from 3pm to 6pm, and in October only on Sunday from 10am to 2pm

La Neu is a complex of exclusive and rustic mountain apartments located in Llorts, a village at an altitude of 1,500m, a few kilometers from the center of Ordino, the Ordino Arcalís ski resort and the Natural Park of the Valley of Sorteny They are a Committed Business to the Ordino Biosphere Reserve since July 11, 2023. The Macarulla Itineraries are easy, short, circular paths, full of magic to motivate children and stimulate the most powerful toy: their imagination. In Ordino we have inaugurated "Piero and the Queen Pitavola" on the Camí dels Colls, which invites you to become a butterfly for a day, learn about the habitat of this insect, its life cycle and the most common species in the natural environment of Andorra. At Casa de la Muntanya you will find the notebook (€1) that will allow you to discover this itinerary and all its activities.

Do you know the Estany Esbalçat? It is an easy hike, of great natural beauty and much less traveled than the lakes of Tristaina. The start is from the Castellar bridge, a few meters from the cabin. Follow the path towards the peak of Font Blanca to Comís Vell, from where you take the path to the west, to the Estany Esbalçat. The return can be done by the old road in less than 3 hours
