On 8th November (until 24th November) Andorra's Autumn Shopping Festival begins where the streets will welcome the Autumn season with all the very latest trends.

There are street activities, dance, music and entertainment throughout the month.

🌟 Join a workshop in which you can create your own perfume, which will be run by Elena del Valle, a renowned perfume guru.

🌟 The festival will also feature the Beauty Space, offering makeup and hairdressing services, as well as personal image consultations.

🌟 Another of the attractions revolves around art, with activities such as photo mosaics of shoppers, 3D street painting and the latest trends in illustration, where you can be depicted in a stylish caricature or a silhouette cutout.

🌟 Live music, DJs and groups.

🌟 Children will be able to enjoy a specially chosen variety of workshops, shows and entertainment that will not only delight them, but allow them to learn things as diverse as working with modelling clay, creating a solar system mobile and face painting.

🌟 You can also take advantage of this shopping extravaganza to see what the Principality's restaurateurs are preparing for this year's Andorra a Taula gastronomy festival, which will run parallel to Shop In Andorra, from 8 to 30 November.

With 3 water slides, you'll definitely make a splash from a height of 7 meters and 53 meters long!

The slides for children aged 3 and over (height restrictions for the larger slide).

Experience the Comapedrosa National Park on horseback - this is definitely one for the bucket list!

The route on horseback starts on the Camí del Comapedrosa (at the exit of Arinsal tunnel).

No previous experience is required.

The horses are ridden up to the Pla de l’Estany (2,859m) and you'll come back down on foot (the steep slope makes it very difficult for horses to come down with inexperienced riders).

At the end of the excursion, why not walk onto les Fonts, el Percanela, the Comapedrosa mountain hut or the Forcats lakes.

The routes on horseback around the Comapedrosa nature Park are an initiative of the Commune of La Massana and l’Aldosa Riding Club.

Did you know Andorra has 30 Mountain Refuges you can stay in?

Whether you have all the gear or want to enjoy one of the manned places, you'll be spoilt for choice.

Refuges Comapedrosa, Sorteny, Cortals de Sispony, Incles and Juclà are staffed.

Although some of the most outstanding refuges include Fontverd, Cabana Sorda and La Portella.

Oooh and you can get your very own Refuge Passport.

If you’re thinking about hiking or visiting all the mountain refuges in Andorra, make sure you get your refuge passport first!

Just stamp your passport at every refuge you visit. Once you’ve stamped all the boxes, present your passport at the Andorra la Vella tourist office, where you’ll not only be given a certificate of achievement, and you’ll also receive a small gift as a reward for your effort and determination!
