Out of nearly 700 exceptional entries from 36 countries, our design was selected as one of the best in the EMEA region. 🏆

Today, we had the honor of welcoming team to our office to present us with this prestigious award, which carries both a meaningful story and sustainable design principles.

The award itself is a work of art. This year, Shaw Contract partnered with the renowned Singaporean textile artist to conceptualize and create the 2024 Design Awards trophies. Both the Best of Region and Best of Globe designs are crafted with Shaw Contract’s EcoSolution Q100™ yarn, made from 100% recycled content nylon fiber, supporting low embodied carbon.

What makes it even more special is the attention to sustainability. The yarn is hand-crocheted, cut, and combed to symbolize a floor of carpet tiles — spaces where we live, work, learn, and heal. The base of the trophy, crafted from upcycled wood, resembles a field of grass, topped by an acrylic wall that highlights an earthy, sustainable palette. The elongated form of the trophy represents the power of design to drive sustainable growth. 🌿✨

We are immensely proud of this achievement and grateful for the recognition. We look forward to continuing our journey to create impactful, sustainable spaces.
