Sharjah’s Dibba Al Hisn Corniche Road will be temporarily closed in both directions on Saturday for UAE National Day celebrations.

The closure, announced by the emirate’s police, will affect the section from Diwan Al Amiri square to Heritage Village square from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes during this time.

Additionally, local authorities confirmed that government employees in Sharjah will enjoy a five-day weekend for UAE National Day, with paid holidays on December 2 and 3, and regular operations resuming on December 4.

Dubai has approved a record budget of 272 billion dirhams ($74.06 billion) for 2025-2027, with projected revenues of 302 billion dirhams.

46% of this budget will go toward infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and enhanced drainage systems, following April’s record rainfall.

The plan includes a 30 billion dirham investment in drainage improvements and a new 128 billion dirham terminal for Al Maktoum International Airport, which will be the world’s largest, accommodating up to 260 million passengers annually.
