Visit the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque with MVD 🤩

Did you know?

1. The Abu Dhabi Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world. It can accommodate up to 40,000 worshipers at a time.

2. Construction of the mosque began in 1996 and was completed in 2007. It was designed to reflect the cultural diversity and Islamic heritage of the United Arab Emirates.

3. The mosque's prayer rug is one of the largest in the world. It measures about 5627 square meters and was made by about 1200 Iranian weavers.

4. The mosque also has one of the largest gold chandeliers in the world. The main chandelier, suspended in the main prayer hall, is about 10 meters in diameter and weighs about 12 tons.

5. The gardens surrounding the Abu Dhabi Mosque are beautifully landscaped and include fountains, waterways and peaceful walkways.
