We are proud to share that our Gift It Forward initiative has been recognised in the Outstanding Initiative category by the Dubai Community Development Authority at the Dubai Appreciation Award for Community Service.

Embracing the spirit of giving and responsible consumption, this Ramadan initiative transformed over 120,000 items into unique gifts and distributed them to over 10,500 low-income beneficiaries in the UAE. Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has partnered with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority - DEWA to develop two substations on Palm Jebel Ali. Valued at AED 270 million and with a combined capacity of 400 megavolt amperes, the substations will power requirements of a major portion of the island, including several of its fronds and spine.

Supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the 2040 Urban Master Plan, this strategic partnership strengthens the foundation of one of Dubai’s most ambitious developments, setting new benchmarks in luxury waterfront living and smart city technologies.
