We are very excited to announce they planned opening of Erebero Hills in Uganda Opening early 2026, this lodge will provide the ideal haven from which to venture into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – home to more than half the world’s mountain gorilla population and one of the most biodiverse places on our planet.
The considered design of Erebero Hills, meaning “a place where you can see far”, takes creative inspiration from the surrounding landscape of rolling hills. Located in Mana Pools National Park, Mana River Camp is positioned on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River nestled between this enormous perennial river and a much visited water pan, particularly enjoyed by elephants for mud bathing.

The beauty of this camp is that it is a mobile tented camp and taken down at the end of each season, before the wet season begins. This gives the feeling of the old, real bush, camping experience. The camp is unfenced and many different animals may be viewed from the camp, whilst enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.

Exiting news! Emirates has added a fourth daily flight from Dubai to Johannesburg in South Africa which will see it return to pre-pandemic levels. EK767 will depart Dubai at 12.10am, arriving in Johannesburg at 6.20am and the return flight, EK768, will depart Johannesburg at 10.15am and arrive in Dubai at 8.15am. This means that Emirates’ schedule now includes a morning departure from Johannesburg.
