There can be no second opinion to the fact that better health facilities are a fundamental requirement of mankind. There are areas/towns in Pakistan that are near some big cities and that towns are somehow neglected with the view that citizens of that small town will easily be able to access the bigger city for health care services. But there are some situations when every single minute is signifi
cant for a life and many patients die on the way to that big city or sometimes many patients have disabilities and conditions that make it very difficult for them to travel to the larger city. The Government, at its own level and private sector as well has been endeavoring hard in this sector and special attention is being paid to excel the establishment of various health units. The fact is that still a lot is yet to be done in this sector for which government encourages the private sector. NGOs and other agencies to participate either individually or in collaboration with the Government. One such example is the construction of a 50-bed hospital at Super High way near Quetta Town, Karachi. To achieve this goal our (team/NGO/Trust) is planning an exercise for generating funds to complete the initial stage work. The team consist of members, specialized in their relevant fields. At the time of funds collection the team will be divided into two. One part will be involved in generation of funds, whereas the other part of the team will monitor the utilization of funds so obtained. The hospital shall be equipped with all necessary medical and other equipment.
