One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is, “When is the best time to see the lights?”

Drawing from over 15 years of experience in the Arctic, our consistent answer is “from September to March”with occasional sightings extending into the first week of April.

However, the appearance of these beautiful auroras is influenced by various factors including cloud coverage, solar activity, and light pollution, all of which are beyond human control and are part of Mother Nature’s domain.

To increase your chances of witnessing this natural phenomenon, there are few things you can do: practicing patience, selecting locations with minimal light pollution, gaining knowledge about the science behind auroras and booking a northern lights hunt experience with a trusted knowledgeable guide who devotes their time in searching for the lights.

Overall, it’s what’s makes it so special and all worth the effort in the end ♥️

There are around 3,000 polar bears in Svalbard. You can see polar bears in Svalbard anywhere and at any time of year, although sightings are relatively rare within the established human settlements. With less than 30 miles of roads on Svalbard, most polar bear tours are usually done by snowmobile or boat.

Some of you would know, and some of you might not… but here is where it all started. In 2017 in Finland… and we expanded to the rest of the Nordics from here.
We wanted to share our passion and expertise on the nordics with you and desperately wanted you to believe in magic and how creating your own reality starts with you.
Fast forward 5 years, today, the nordics is our home, where the energy of the world starts right here and thru your soul. Believing is a powerful tool. Being experts in the nordics taught us a lot on how to navigate thru challenging times and see the beauty of the earth at her best. Never had I imagined we would open a new destination other than Scandinavia on @travelwithtjd , but we did it and I’m so grateful for it. That’s the silver lining for 2020! Would you swim in ICE water?? I always found it challenging to film in subzero temperatures but I decided to go back to Finland to @visitkemi to experience a new town cruising the Bothnian Sea and swim in -20 degrees Celsius water despite everything. I filmed this short home made video using the @nokiamobile Nokia 8 using the BOTHIE feature and as always, trying to keep it as real as I can using nothing but the #Nokia8 to document my journey!
