Another year around the sun, a year older and maybe wiser. Feeling gratitude for all the heartfelt messages you all shared with me on this special day 🫶🏼🎂

Typically on this day I would be all about celebrating the journey of adventure in this crazy life but this year can’t help but pause a little to reflect how much I really miss having my family with me today. Their love and support for me makes it possible for me to continue to pursue the adventure of the lifetime. Today, I want to celebrate them. Forever grateful ♥️

HIGHLANDER RAK 2024 – our third edition and the biggest to date and what a turn out!!

This day last week more than 200 participants came together to experience the adventure of a lifetime in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah between the hajar mountains.

But before I talk about the amazing adventure we all had, this post is dedicated to my amazing team.

You are the heart and soul of HIGHLANDER. Without you this event would not be possible. You gave it your all and beyond. You worked with such passion and open smile. You lifted particpant when they needed encouragement and you addressed them when they needed attention. You made sure they adventured safely and kept them entertained along the trail and at camps.

This event is more than once person, this event is all of us. We come together to make history and to show the world our beautiful mountains and all the potential they hold within to grow an industry we all believe in.

Our faces say it all, it’s as if we won the WORLD CUP! A moment of joy that reflects on the success of our unity and embracing the journey.

I am forever grateful, I could not have asked for more. On behalf of myself and the HIGHLANDER participants: Thank you 💚

Working in the field of adventure travel and tourism reflects highly on the nature of our business, a journey of discovery, experience and connection with land and its people.

It was an honor to be part of “EDUTOUR 2023” at the request of the Agence National Du Tourisme De Djibouti to be part of this ambitious initiative aiming to promote and strengthen Djibouti’s visibility as a major tourist destination under the chairmanship of the Minister of Commerce and Tourism, Mohamed Warsama Dirieh, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Commerce and Tourism, the Director-General of the National Tourism Agency of Djibouti, and the Commercial Affairs Advisor of the Embassy of Ethiopia in Djibouti.

This ceremony marked the beginning of an exciting week of discoveries and partnerships.

Nothing excites me more than having the opportunity to work and be part of the development of adventure tourism in our region. Djibouti is part of the league of Arab states and to discover this hidden natural gem was truly privilege.

We spent 5 days traveling across the country in a diverse circuit was set up showcasing the different facets of Djibouti, across the desert, the mountain, the volcanos, the beach, mangroves and diving in the red sea across the six regions of Ali Sabieh, Arta, Dikhil, Djibouti, Obock, and Tadjourah. The program offered a complete immersion into the captivating richness of the Djibouti destination.

So thrilled that we can finally talk about this exciting new partnership between Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority and Omran Group OM after the public signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at WTM 2023 London, marking the official start of this collaboration.

It's been a pleasure being part of this conversation and planning, more over my passion for all things adventure in both UAE and Oman - the two destinations that shaped my career and elevated my experience through their people, culture, and unique nature.

This MoU signifies our commitment to working together on initiatives that will draw more international visitors to both Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam, positioning them as top global tourism destinations in the Middle East.

Exciting new development for adventure tourism across both destinations that will offer an extended experiences across land and sea. I can’t wait to share the new reveal 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Last week, was a new milestone in the journey of to showcase itself on the global map as an emerging destination for adventure travel. We had the pleasure of meeting over 30 buyers from North America and Europe and introducing our destination and all that it has to offer. The response was bigger than I expected and I was overwhelmed with positive feedback knowing we exceeded the buyer's expectations.

Such positive feedback ignited the fire inside of me and reminded me once more why I am so passionate about the great outdoors and how it can break barriers, bring people closer to discover new destinations, and bond together over exciting experiences.

As an emerging destination in this adventure industry, we learned a lot but more importantly, gained more confidence and determination that we are on the right track. Our first AdventureELEVATE Near East 2023, did not disappoint!

185 delegates from 30 countries came together to network, learn, and inspire one another. Thanks to the team behind the Adventure Travel Trade Association for hosting us.

6 years ago, on this day, I had
my very first TV interview talking all things outdoor and safety within the region.

I must say, even though I know my material by heart, I was both excited and nervous at the same time. Not only was it my first TV appearance but I also had to speak in Arabic which is not my strongest language when I need to speak of technical terms and material I studied and communicate on a daily basis in English.

When I look back at how far I have come, never would I have imagined I’d be where I am today.

I am in awe of this journey and what it holds. I try to remind myself not to take anything for granted and to trust the process.

Jumping in on the trend. I couldn’t help it. I was super curious how it would turn out. I am fascinated by the incredible capabilities of A.I. these days. It can bring your imagination to another level and show you different versions of your possible selfs in other dimensions.

I’m blown away by the accuracy of my beard and how it is shaped. It got me thinking of shaving it off now to see how else I would like 🤔

A moment of true bliss. Mind heavy with thoughts, and the soul light with gratitude. Finding balance is key. Its an never ending journey.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of enjoying the company of Mr Andy and his lovely wife. We talked all things adventure, travel, life and things that matter.

I was lucky enough to listen to wisdom of a couple that lived a rich life of travel and exploration. Thank you for sharing your stories.

Dream Big Cuz Adventure Is Living

Its been almost 2 years since I quit my corporate life and founded Adventurati Outdoor. The past season has been one wild ride. Its been the biggest challenge and the most serious decision I ever had to make. 5 years ago I would have never imagined this is where I will be today. I am grateful to have met all the right people who have lead me to where I.

I am grateful for Dubai, the land of opportunity that made it possible to follow my passion and make a living out of it. I am grateful to all my close friends and family who stood by me all the way. I am grateful for all those who mocked me and laughed in my face for they gave me a reason to work harder and have the last laugh. Thank you for all those who joined Adventurati through out the past season and left behind great memories and friendships.

I have a responsibility towards all of you and I promise to keep doing what I do best. Never lose that spark inside you and always let the light of adventure guide you to explore this beautiful world we live in and meet all the like minded souls along the way.
