A huge congradulations to who successfully summited K2 (8611m) the second highest mountain in the world, making her the first Arab woman to summit K2. This is a true testament to her months of strenuous training, strength and determination.

K2 is known as the savage mountain, and considered more challenging than Mount Everest.

This also would not have been possible without the great efforts of the Nepalese Sherpas who fixed the ropes and the guidance of team from . Well done you guys 🙌🏼

It was a pleasure to host and his team at Camp 1770, the highest camp in UAE at the top of , to experience the majestic hajar mountains at cooler temperatures.

Our guests from Brazil who are filming an episode about Ras Al Khaimah for the famous Travel TV show got to learn about the development of adventure tourism in the emirates and what makes Ras Al Khaimah mountains so special.

And of course no adventure is complete without our signature traditional meals that are prepared by the local families in Jebel Jais part of our Adventure Tourism sustainable program to support the local tribes.

HISTORY IS MADE!
Congrats to Nayla Nasir A. Al Baloushi from the United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪 who is officially the first Emirati woman to stand on the top of Mt. Everest 8848.86m.

Nayla successfully summited at 8am Nepal time on the 14th of May 2022 becoming the first-ever Emirati female to climb the world’s highest peak.

Great to see the women of this great nation continue to inspire, achieve and lead young girls to break stereotype, dream big and make it happen.

It is hard to believe we are wearing jackets during April in UAE but here we are fully kitted in our “winter” jackets pushing ourselves towards Jebel Jais peak at 1,935m.

Our UAE Summit Series by Adventurati Outdoor offers us the opportunity to continue doing what we love even in the summer!

Camp 1770 is the highest camp in UAE and due to its elevation we enjoy cooler temperatures and gives outdoor enthusiest a breathing space to continue camping while the summer heat takes over the city.

We would like to thank all those who participated in our poll last week. It helped us understand your preferences and accordingly we have decided to adapt to the new working week.

In line with UAE’s new work week and our guests office hours and your preferences as per the poll, moving forward our main trips over the weekend will be on Saturday and Sunday.

In this transition we will also be open for tours on Friday with main focus on afternoon hikes or private bookings during the full day.

👉🏼 The trip includes a little bit of everything offering a variety of experiences to feed our adventurous souls:
• Drive up the mountain in any car (no 4x4 needed)
• Sunset hike on a route that takes us through the higher parts of Jais, leading to an old settlement overlooking the mountain side to watch the sun set in an awe-like moment.
• Set camp, prepare dinner, unwind, relax and enjoy a good company under a starry night.
• Temperature at night is expected to be around 25C with llight breeze to keep us cool.
The plan is to start in the afternoon to avoid the day sun.
