Glamping & Guesthouse

We are Barbudan sisters and half way to achieving our own business - a beachside glamping site with an eco-friendly guest house next door. We have chosen one of Barbuda’s most beautiful natural beaches, on the Atlantic side of the island, close to Two Foot Bay.

We began this project five years ago in 2013, hoping to build the guest house with two recycled shipping containers. However, this proved more complicated than expected; Barbuda is very isolated and everything (except for sand!) has to be imported, although we have benefitted from free land as young Barbudans. So this idea has now evolved into a glamping Cabana with the guest house next door.

We have made sustainable progress and this year have completed the Cabana. We have also made a beach hut right on the beach from recycled Hurricane Irma materials. We have finished the first stage of the guest house with our own funds and help from one investor. We are looking for three more investors to complete our project so if you are interested in helping, please get in touch to find out our terms. In the mean time the Cabana is fully equipped and open for business and we hope you will visit us soon.
