The vacation was one of a lifetime. Spending a week with my family, celebrating my 80th birthday, seeing places I'd never seen before and being showered with fabulous scenery, fabulous food, and being sailed through the islands with such a fabulous crew will be a forever memory. We snorkelled, hiked, we tried the wakeboard and kayak, visited Cooper Island for dinner one night, met Foxy, and completed the scavenger hunt that Laura put together especially at our request.

Jim Shrove from Boatsatsea, provided excellent service for me and our trip. I needed lots of help as this was a "first time" adventure. He helped me zero in on the best yacht for my family. His added information about our chef having attended culinary school in England last summer landed us on One Love! Throughout the process Jim stayed in touch with me, offering recommendations on island hotel before and after cruise, dining suggestions for our dinner on shore, and checking on me from time to time as we prepared for our trip. He was the best and I enjoyed working with him. I would definitely recommend Jim to anyone desiring assistance with yachting. He was kind, personable, knowledgeable, patient, and a fabulous resource

We defined the yacht as perfect for our needs. The cabins were comfortable. Our captain hung hammocks in the evening. We rotated from front to back to be in the sun, out of the sun. We did have intermittent rain a couple of days and our crew pulled out some games for us to play. The captain hosed down and swept down the yacht every day. The chef kept the galley clean and how she stored all the wonderful food refrigerated and stored in such a small space was amazing.

We used the snorkeling equipment, kayak, wake boards. We would have liked to see more fish---but sometimes they just don't cooperate. We tried several different spots. We saw lots of barracudas--even saw a couple of glimpses of lobsters.

The food was absolutely amazing. Each meal and snack were beautifully presented. Our chef was an absolute culinary master in our opinion. She absolutely paid very close to our preference sheets. We had a 12 year old with us and she loved the mocktails I had mentioned to Laura before hand.
Steak and lobster birthday dinner was very special as was crab stuffed halibut and pasta bolognese---all items requested on preference sheets. Desserts were incredible--bananas foster, creme brulee, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. I could go on and on. I should have mentioned in advance that my husband and I have small appetities. We always felt a bit rude not finishing all our meals. It was certainly no reflection on the chef. Everything she prepared was over the top. Love the goat cheese she added to a few items

We had the perfect crew--in our opinion. Christian and Laura are such a fantastic team. I can't imagine another crew topping them. They offered suggestions, delighted in our pleasure, were gracious and courteous in every way. My kids bought me a personalized birthday flag to fly on the ship and Christian made a ceremony out of it--up and down. The crew presented me with a map and our charted course and gave us some One Love memorabilia as the owner of our yacht was trading up for a new one for next season. It was such a pleasure to be with a crew who cared so much for each other, delighted in sailing, and went out of their way to make sure we were all having a great time. They were so accommodating about everything. My daughter in law had read before hand about how sometimes a crew would prepare a scavenger hunt for the guests. On a phone call prior to our cruise she mentioned it and when we arrived Laura had a scavenger hunt list prepared for us. My 12 year old granddaughter was especially excited about the challenge----but we all enjoyed the adventure. When we came back from a snorkelling experience, the crew had decorated the table for my birthday dinner. I will never forget my 80th birthday!!

Everything was perfect. I can't compliment the crew enough about how each day unfolded and the adventures we had. The whole experience from start to finish is one I will never forget. Being with my family on this marvelous journey was the icing on the cake!

The yacht was a perfection, clean as a whistle. The cabins were comfortable, we had enough shade.

'Could have stayed for another week!'

The whole trip was great. We were able to Scuba dive all six days. The food was better than any restaurant in the area. The location we spent are evenings at were private and quiet.

Boatsatsea service was 5 stars! I will recommend them to friends and family!

The yacht was in great shape. Cabins were clean and roomy. The boat itself had many places to stay depending on the weather. Shady places when needed. Sunny places if needed and if you just wanted to get away from the outdoors the cockpit was cool and comfortable.

We took advantage of all the toys. We scuba dove every day. Great dive locations and then wonderful swimming and snorkeling.

The captain made sure we went to great locations, and the chef prepared wonderful food the entire charter.

The chef on this charter was great. We felt like we were eating every meal at a 5-star location. The presentation is something you only see at the best restaurants in the world. We have a number of allergies, and the crew never made a mistake on anything they offered us to eat. The meals were always something we liked to eat and at times we actually got different main courses due to allergies and/or our preferences.

The crew was absolutely top notch. We always felt safe on the charter and during our trip we were experiencing very high winds. They clearly paid attention to what we had asked to do on the preference sheet so that made the trip wonderful.

I hate to repeat myself, but the crew paid attention to what we had asked for before the charter and delivered us exactly what we wanted.

The charter boat was in great shape and has a number of scuba setups. The crew made the trip perfect. Although there is absolutely nothing wrong with the charter boat, I would follow this crew if they moved to a new boat. They are just that good and our family has been on a number of charter boats over the past 16 years.

The yacht was clean and well-maintained. The cabins were very great, comfortable beds and A/C worked wonderfully. The outdoor seating areas were comfy, there was enough shade.

Captain Kelsey was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, very capable and just really nice.

The pace was perfect. They picked out the perfect spots for mooring and exploring, just enough sailing and enough downtime that never felt rushed nor bored.

Yacht was fantastic. Top of the line all around and could get in the AC whenever needed. Super clean and crew took care of us extremely well!

Water toys were great from the float ring at the back of the boat, to the paddle boards and the propulsion jets you could ride to see great wildlife.

Happy to announce another fabulous 5⭐️ review for a memorable family vacation aboard S/Y OKEANA!

'This was a fantastic vacation!'

Jane and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our daughter, her husband, and our two granddaughters. Captain Dal and Mate JJ made this a memorable time. Dal knew all about the islands and he did a wonderful job of not only being our Captain, but our tour guide as well. JJ used our Preference Sheets to prepare meals that were "over the top".
The weather was good, the islands were great, and our boat fit our needs perfectly.

Pamela was very helpful in putting together our week of sailing. She provided great information regarding sites to see and places to sail.
BoatsAtSea was very timely and prompt in all communications.
We would definitely recommend BoatsAtSea to others.

Okeana was just right for our needs. Having four cabins not only allowed the grandparents and parents to have their own cabin, but the two granddaughters also had their own separate cabins. This was a huge plus.
We loved spending time on the Top Deck and Flying Bridge (cool breezes). A lot of time was spent on the Fore Deck ... sunbathing and playing board games.
Having air-conditioned cabins made the evenings very comfortable.
The boat was well maintained, and Dal kept everything spotless during the days.

We enjoyed the water float, the noodles, the Standup Paddle Board, and the Sea Scooter was much fun.
Dal took us to some great snorkel locations. His selections of Eustatia Sound and The Indians were highlights.
Our four SCUBA Rendezvous Dives were incredible. I needed a dive buddy, so Dal accommodated. He also was a fantastic underwater photographer. We were able to view the photography on board in the evening using the wide screen tv ... what a treat!

JJ called us in advance to review our Preference Sheets. She was excellent in preparing "one of a kind" meals that appealed to all six of us. She spent time and effort in preparing very delicious meals that were each presented with beautiful detail.
Our anniversary meal was very special and made for a great celebration!

Our Captain was a highlight of the vacation. Dal was exceptional in making site recommendations. His knowledge of the area enabled him to provide helpful information, ensuring we enjoyed each destination.
First Mate / Chef JJ was incredible. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were all coordinated to fit our days and were all professionally prepared. Her abilities by way of her being a certified Captain were a plus.
Having the knowledge and experience of Dal and JJ gave us a great experience.
Both Dal and JJ were always courteous and helpful, quick to provide assistance and joined us in activities when invited.

We did a lot during our week, sailing to many destinations. On two mornings, Captain Dal made this possible by his starting our sailing adventure while some were still resting in bed.
We very much appreciated Dal coordinating our itinerary.

This was a celebration of a lifetime, and the trip met all our expectations.

Boatsatsea service was very customer service oriented. Pamela was amazing and worked with us to meet all of our diverse needs.

The yacht was perfect. Great rooms, great equipment, excellent AC, clean and new.

Our cabins were cleaned daily, sheet and towels changed midweek.

We used most of the toys and they were great.

The culinary experience was incredible. We had many specific and hard to meet needs and they worked diligently to meet them all for all of our group. The variety and quality of food was five start, we could not have asked for anything better.

The husband and wife crew helped to make our trip a lifetime memory. The captain was experienced and knowledgeable and was very willing to teach us about sailing and allow us to help. They were very friendly and great people that we connected with and enjoyed their company as well. We would for sure go back on another cruise with them.

I can’t imagine a more incredible team. Captain Rob planned our entire itinerary and his knowledge of the islands was priceless. He bonded with the three children in our group (ages 11, 9, and 6) and gained their trust. His expertise made us feel so safe and allowed us to feel courageous enough to try many new adventures. He was extremely flexible at following our pace, always ready for exciting excursions and also allowing us to relax when we were in the mood. He went above and beyond in every way. Chef Laila cooked absolutely delicious food! She was so patient and flexible with the kids’ idiosyncrasies and had so many special treats. An unforgettable experience all around and so grateful for our amazing team!

Boatsatsea service was great. Our questions were always responded to promptly and Sara took the time to help us find the right charter to meet our needs and budget.

We really enjoyed all the water toys, including the snorkeling, the paddle boards, and the underwater scooters.

We're overwhelmed with gratitude for yet another amazing review of Wind Chaser I !

'We enjoyed tremendously, It felt like a six-star hotel on the water!'

Yacht was clean and well-maintained, with all aspects being clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Very spacious, to the point that sometimes we did not know where other members of our group were on the boat.
Cabins were very comfortable, and AC being turned on in the evening and rooms cooling generally quite rapidly. Sleep was good.
Shade was more than sufficient, with plenty of room to sunbathe and we did not have to wake up at 6am to go put towels on chairs to save us a spot!

We arrived each with a carry-on and a personal bag. We probably did not use nearly a third of what we brought. So, your indication to "halve" whatever we packed was near-wisdom even for us who already travelled light. There is absolutely no way that anyone needs to bring a large suitcase (unless it is the only suitcase of their party); there is simply no need for it unless you are staying onland before or after.

Scuba diving: completed our Open Water certification. Equipment was top-notch and all sizes available, six tanks with air compressor to fill "at will". Zero issues. Diving areas were amazing, mostly at Danger Reef - saw sharks and barracudas together with other marine life.

Snorkelling: Did snorkelling on a few occasions. Well chosen. Saw rays, turtles, shark, fish.

Paddeboards: two inflatable paddleboards. Did quite a few rides. Very good shape although the captain had to remove a peeling non-slip surface as it came undone. Good storage capacity.

Rubber dinghy: quite useful for dinghy drift and little adventures. Sufficiently spacious for our group.

Did not use the kite surf or e-foil.

Meals were excellent.

Breakfasts were varied, hearty and well-balanced.

Lunches were generally lighter affairs, again varied.

Dinners were very good and varied. Probably a couple of heavier meals than most others, with one unfortunately on the first night when we were simply too exhausted to truly enjoy the amazing steaks prepared.

One caveat overall: Chef should be more proactive in late afternoon to propose little appetizers to make us last till dinner. We asked for cheese and charcuterie (very nicely set) on a couple of occasions to tide us over.

Ashlynn (Chef): excellent, attentive to suggestions, very friendly and approachable, well organized.

James (Diving instructor): excellent, very patient, put one's mind at ease and was calming during scuba sessions. Gave space on the boat and would ask periodically if all was ok, but never intrusive. Took time to chat with us, but would also let us be. Offered up activities and accompanied us. Had good music selection and not too loud. We would certainly dive again with him.

Aritz (Captain): simply, AMAZING. Knew the boat and the water, and where to go and how. Put safety first, gave his instructions clearly and was prudent on the water especially on one rockier day given the weather. Was easy to speak to; enquired periodically to make sure we were ok and offered up activities. He joined us on dives and most snorkelling outings, and provided reassurance to our little four-novice-person diving group. Also had good music selection and not too loud. We would go back on the water with him in a heartbeat.

We often spoke for nearly hours at dinner, sharing stories. They were a great crew and it showed that they had worked together before.

Pace was excellent. No rush in the morning; everyone enjoyed their breakfast at a leisurely pace. We then set up for the morning activity. Lunch was ready generally promptly after the main morning activity took place. We would usually lounge about in the afternoon, with Captain taking us to the next destination when needed. I believe that we stayed very focused on the Exumas due to the quality of the diving specifically there, coming in from Nassau. I would suggest you make it clearer that it is a possibility of focus in one area for that reason.

We felt at all times very safe in the hands of the captain, and always felt he knew exactly what he was doing and where he was going.

We are thrilled to share that we've recently received numerous fantastic reviews from our satisfied clients!
We're especially grateful to receive such positive feedback about Soul Mates, where clients had the best sailing experience in the Bahamas, Exumas.

We all just returned from our week through the Exumas. Our
expectations preparing for the trip were extremely high. Without
question, those expectation were exceeded in every manner. The vessel
was spacious and comfortable, food was abundant and delicious, nightly
anchorages were interesting and offered great opportunities for
snorkelling and swimming in virtually crystal clear waters. We used
and enjoyed all the water toys onboard. We collected king conch and
Emma made delicious conch fritters and conch ceviche.
Mitch and Emma are the perfect crew for the Soulmates. Both are
delightful people and expert in what they do. They had a suggested
itinerary , explained it fully , and were willing to make adjustments
to it if necessary. We are not an easy group to feed as a group of
eight including kids with various taste preferences, peanut and gluten
allergies, etc.. Emma mastered the task completely !
Every day offered a new adventure. We swam with pigs, played with the
nurse sharks at Compass Key, saw the iguanas , snorkelled Pablo
Escavar's sunken plane wreck. One night in Staniel Key , we all went
out for dinner at the restaurant at the Yacht Club. It too was a treat
!
The best gathering spot on the Soulmates is the upper deck, the views
are great, the breezes are exhilarating, My grandkids on most nights
elected to sleep on the comfortable cushions on deck under the stars.
We indeed got lucky with near perfect weather. The Exumas are just
amazing and interesting as it offers so much without venturing out in open ocean which insured calm seas.
We collectively had a world class family vacation that we will never forget.
Please let the owner of the Soulmate know what a tremendous asset his
new crew is. They are literally the best !!!

What a wonderful review came back from clients sailing on the Virgin Islands, aboard SV DEBORAH ANNE! ❤️

We were so happy to be sailing again (too many years in between trips for sure!) Captain James and Chef Tia were wonderful! We loved the Catamaran and would definitely book it again if we decide to sail again.

BoatsAtSea was great- answered our questions in a timely manor and were easy to work with.

The boat was wonderful- Cabins comfortable with plenty of storage. We sat comfortably all over the boat.

we planned on snorkelling but since we had some high seas we skipped it. Not an issue at all. We enjoyed the large round float/trampoline to just enjoy the water from.

The food was phenomenal. Tia is an amazing chef!

We truly enjoyed our time with James and Tia. They were friendly, attentive without intruding, and made us feel right at home.

Each day was planned with us and we completely enjoyed the stops, we feel completely relaxed and refreshed!

I would like to share another excellent review from our clients. An unforgettable cruising experience aboard S/V JUSTIFIED HORIZONS.

The cruising vacation was excellent. Visited many different islands and places, varied activities at each place. Crew was fun, made everything exceptionally easy with no stress, food was excellent.

Absolutely! Loved working with Graham from Boatsatsea and would highly recommend. Knowledgeable, communication was excellent and always answered questions immediately. Checked in during the trip and after to make sure everything was going well.

Yacht was exceptional. Clean and well maintained. Cabins and cockpit were very comfortable. Lots of places to get out of the sun. Nice touches with table settings, JH monogrammed pillows, monogrammed towels for each room, drink glasses and many more examples.

The meals were exceptional. Tanya is a fabulous chef. Menu exceeded our expectations. The meals were made from scratch and varied every single day. She did follow our preference sheets. Her lobster crepe with carrot/ginger sauce was to die for. But every meal was excellent - scallops, salmon, sea bass - all great!

Crew was excellent. Definitely friendly, fun, helpful, very attentive and knowledgable. More difficult with Tanya because she was inside and always busy with the meals so we didn't want to distract her. But Jack and Shelley were always around, always went with us when off the island, watched us closely snorkelling.

I loved the pace - 2-3 spots each day, trying different bays for snorkelling, different bars on land, hiking. Got to experience and see a lot of the islands and bays there.

We are completely relaxed and refreshed!

We've been on one charter last year, but this one was hands-down the best charter we've ever done! Micha and Charly MADE the trip!! From the moment we stepped onto the boat, they made us feel right at home. The food was over the top incredible, A++!!! Micha ensured we stayed busy with dingy rides to various reefs, seabob fun, and exploring new beautiful places.

Sherry from Boatsatsea did a wonderful job steering us to boats that met our criteria. She recommended we go with Samsara based on some of our food preferences and her knowledge of the boat. It was the best decision!!

The yacht is Micha and Charly's home. It was beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed the layout of the Leopard 51, including the door to the front of the boat and the shaded part behind the nets.

We used the paddleboards, snorkel gear, and the seabob - a ton of fun all week! (no diving)

The meals were incredible. There was never a moment where we were hungry, as Charly continued to feed us from morning to evening. He accomodated our diets perfectly and his bruschetta was to die for!

Micha has a no-nonsense attitude about him, but he also really cares about making sure we were happy and entertained. We really enjoyed learning about their adventures and how they came to live on Samsara.

The pace was perfect and the itinerary was great. We saw a lot of beautiful places and had a great time.

Micha and Charly are beautiful people with big hearts. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and are thankful they opened up their home to us for the week. We are missing them already and hope our paths cross again!
