Visit Diber
The Diber region is noted for its mountainous terrain and a variety of natural features including rivers, valleys, glacial lakes, and dense forests. Within Diber there are two national parks: Lure National Park, and Zall Gjoçaj National Park, and a nature park: Korab Koritnik Nature Park.
Diber’s beautiful natural attractions are complemented by its rich heritage that includes numerous cultural and historical monuments such as the 16th century Mosque of Allejbegi, the 12th century Church of the Holy Transfiguration, and the Grazhdani Castle ruins from the 2nd century.
Additionally, the majority of Diber residents are farmers who produce a variety of foods made available in the local outdoor markets. Vendors sell locally made products that include jufka (pasta), cheese, and honey, as well as offering locally grown apples, cherries, and blueberries.
The Diber Tourist Information Center aims to be a one-stop shop for visitors of the Diber region in Albania.
