Pictures from the recently renovated Ethnographic museum in Kruja.

This museum is located inside an old house built in 1764 which was adapted as a museum in 1989. The different rooms in the house are full of objects which show the life of a rich family in Albania during the Ottoman rule. If you visit this museum, you will learn more about the traditions of the area, the self-sufficient systems made to produce and store different goods in the house, life style of the period and traditional crafts and clothes.

If you plan to visit Kruja, or if you happen to be there, this museum must be on your bucket list.
