Albania is changing. Fast. The capital city Tirana is becoming a "modern" place, from skyscrapers over globalized burger joints to electric taxis.
But modern is probably not what you are looking for when visiting, our guess is you've got enough of that at home. What you're seeking for - and for sure what we want to show you - is a rural, traditional world and way of life just as it was 100 years ago in Western Europe. The world of our grand-grand parents. A fascinating world. For the moment it still exists, here in the fields and mountains of Albania, at the edge of Europe. Not far away.
Experience it on a mountain bike (the very best way to dive into it), during our "CrossCountry Albania" week, taking place 21-28 September of this year. That date is a guaranteed departure, and its mixed small group (max 9x guests) has some last free spaces available.

Many places in this world where you can do mountain biking. For the best trails only you may even stay in the European alps with its chairlifts, artificially made trail parks and so on. What we can give you here in Albania is another experience, an experience which the rich and developed "Western" world cannot give you (anymore): the deep dive into a rural, traditional society and its way of life, full of homemade, locally sourced food, hard working friendly people, and a sometimes nearly untouched nature. Resembling the world of our Western grandparents some 80 years ago.
Time travelling, best experienced on a mountain bike. Thats our "CrossCountry week Albania" with 3x available dates this year, first May 4-11, second June 8-15 and last Sept 21-28. May & June are already guaranteed departures and have still some last spaces available.
