Our inspiration comes from the wisdom of our Ancestors, World Cultural Heritage and Divine Love, and its symbol - the Pomegranate Flower, which we chose as the symbol of our company to have its blessing spread onto our guests and among them the marrying couples we serve.
The Pomegranate Flower
Pomegranate has always had a special meaning for the Ancient Armenians. One can find many illustrations of Kenats Tsar – the Tree of Life – in the form of a pomegranate tree. The ancient Armenians believed each pomegranate fruit to contain 365 seeds – just as the number of the days in a year. Healing features of this plant were known to the ancient Oriental people.
People considered pomegranate flower as the symbol of eternal love and fidelity. For them the gemstone - Garnet – with its name originating from its matching the Granatus seeds - also symbolized love, passion, devotion and fidelity.
