There would hardly be anyone who would not agree with the statement that Armenia is more attractive and beautiful with its undiscovered miracles. Every corner of Armenia has its own history – a legend, a myth connected with it.
Khndzoresk village (located in the South-East of Armenia, marz Syunik) is not an exception. In 2012 thanks to the efforts of Khndzoresk residents a swinging bridge was opened.
The amazing thing about the bridge is that it was constructed by the residents of the village, with their own hands and no machinery was used for the construction, and even for the transportation of materials (they used horses). Everyone would agree that this is a very brave and patriotic act. The aim was perhaps to preserve the natural and historical heritage of their hometown, as the new bridge can help you see, feel, hear, learn and experience many things about ancient times.

The date 24 April commemorates the deportation of Armenian intellectuals on 24 April 1915 from Constantinople (current Istanbul, Turkey). The first commemoration, organized by a group of Armenian Genocide survivors, was held in Istanbul in 1919 at the local St. Trinity Armenian church.Many prominent figures in the Armenian community participated in the commemoration. Yerevan’s one of the ancient cities in the world. And the naming of the city is interpreted in various interesting ways.

One interpretation refers to Noah and his ark. According to it, Noah’s ark landed on Masis and as he came out of it, he saw the place of the city of Yerevan. In this regard, the name Yerevan has been related to the Armenian word “yereval” (երևալ) meaning “to be seen.”

Tatev(Armenian:"give wings")- is an Armenian monastery complex dating back to the 9-13th centuries, situated in Syunik region 20 km far from the city of Goris. It is a part of a huge tourist complex, which also features the hermitage called tatevi Anapat, Tatev, ropeway the natural bridge called Satani Kamurj(The Devils Bridge) and many other sightseengs. It was established in 895-906 and has been the religious center of Syunik since 19th century. Tatev ropeway called "Wings of Tatev" is the longest two-way ropeway in the world stretching 5,7 kilometers. The highest elevation point of the ropeway is 320 meters over the river Vorotan.
