Grand Case beach has pretty much everything you need to relax your day away. Friar's Bay and Happy Bay can be both reached on foot should you require a change of scenery. The fun-filled Orient beach is a 10 minute drive. There are no chain hotels or restaurants anywhere in Grand Case - only authentic small intimate hotels and unique restaurants serving outstanding original food. The vast majority of the top 10 restaurants on the island are within a 5 minute walk of our apartment. The Dutch side has more North American restaurant options and is only a short drive away. Grand Case has several small grocery stores - all within walking distance. A large supermarket with gourmet European food is a 5 minute drive. If it's North American food you crave, there's another large supermarket 15 minutes away just across the border on the Dutch side.
