Very good news! It is time to prepare your Caribbean winter holidays!

The island has announced a slate of pre-arrival requirements that will take effect on Nov. 1, 2021.

They include the requirement that all visitors 18 and over must be fully vaccinated in order to be allowed entry to Anguilla; pregnant women are exempt from this requirement.

Fully vaccinated means that more than three weeks have passed since the final dose of of a vaccine schedule.

All visitors must also show proof of a negative PCR or antigen test, but the test must be taken no less than two to five days prior to arrival (self-administered tests will not be accepted).

Upon arrival, all vistors will be tested again; while the test is processed, they’ll be required to stay in place at the villa.

That usually takes less than 24 hours.

If the test result is negative, there is no quarantine requirement; visitors can then explore the island on their own.

Guests staying on the island more than 8 days may be tested on day four of their visit, at no additional cost.

Visitors still have to apply for entry to the island; applications will not be accepted later than 12 PM the day before arrival.

# # **SINT MAARTEN**
* The EHAS application must still be completed.
* All travelers to Sint Maarten who are fully vaccinated will be exempted from a COVID-19 test. The completed vaccination date cannot be older than one year, unless a booster shot has been administered before the ending of the one year term. # # **ANGUILLA**
* Only visitors that are vaccinated (age 18+ with the exception of pregnant women) are allowed in Anguilla. Persons must have received the full dose of vaccines with the final dose administered 21 days prior to arrival.

**The approved vaccines for visitors entering Anguilla are:**
1. Pfizer/BioNTech: Cormintary; BNT162b2 (2 doses)
1. Oxford/AstraZeneca: Astrazeneca, Vaxzevria, Covishield, AZ; AZD1222 (ChAdOx1) (2 doses)
1. Moderna: Moderna; Spikevax (2 doses)
1. Janssen: Janssen/John and Johnson; JnJ (1 dose)

Also, Anguilla is now accepting mixed doses of approved vaccines.: AZ/Pfizer, AZ/Moderna and Pfizer/Moderna.
* Visitors must apply to visit Anguilla online and a negative Covid-19 Test will be required. **The test needs to be done 2 to 5 days prior to arrival. There is a fee of $50.00 associated with the application. **It is suggested to start the application 7 days before arrival and submit all information no later than 12 PM EST the day before the day of arrival. **Anguilla is accepting the following Covid-19 Tests:**
1. Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction tests (RT-PCR)
1. Nucleic Acid Amplification tests (NAA)
1. RNA or molecular test
1. Antigen tests completed via a nasopharyngeal swab

The laboratory that processes the pre-arrival test must be accredited. Self-administered home tests and antibody tests will not be accepted.
* Visitors will be tested on arrival and must stay on the property until a negative test result have been issued (~24 hrs).
**There is no quarantine for vaccinated visitors, once your arrival test is negative, no matter where you are staying. **Visitors traveling with unvaccinated minors will not need to quarantine beyond the required stay in place on arrival. Guests are free to explore the island at will.
* Visitors who are staying more than 8 nights might be required to undertake a day four test (no additional cost). If this would be the case, there is no waiting time or restrictions until you receive the result of this test.
