Today marks a new anniversary of the death of General José de San Martin, a National Hero 🇦🇷
This equestrian monument located in Retiro, Buenos Aires is made of bronze on a red polished granite base.
It was the first equestrian monument in Argentina and it was inaugurated in 1862. The work belongs to the French sculptor Louis Joseph Daumas and the bronze groups around the basement were made by the German Gustavo Eberlein some time later.

We know how wonderful the iguazú falls are ♡ but, did you know that in Misiones Province you can also find an important cultural heritage?
The San ignacio Mini Ruins was declared a world heritage site by in 1984
It was one of the cities founded by the Jesuits between XVI & XVII centuries.
■More >>> all the cities had the same construction pattern: a central patio, a church , next to it a house where the jesuits who served the chuech lived. The space that remained around the central patio was occupied by houses for the locals and classroms where art and music were taught.
