Our Operations Specialist, Mafe, embarked on an unforgettable journey exploring El Calafate and El Chalten. 🏔️

"The day after landing in El Calafate, we ventured to Perito Moreno. We walked for at least 3 hours on the impressive glacier and had lunch surrounded by a view of white and blue that can't be matched.

We kayaked our way to El Chalten, paddling through the glacial waters of the stunning river. We hiked and explored the meseta where we found petrified dinosaur bones! An unforgettable and thrilling journey that left us breathless!"

In El Chalten, the incredible Fitz Roy is there, always vigilant, watching and encouraging you to discover the astonishing landscapes. We hiked to Laguna de Los Tres and were amazed by the natural diversity of Patagonia: forests, snow, mountains, and a thousand weather changes in a single day!

Standing on the top of a glacier in one of the remotest places on earth is an incredible feeling! 🧊🗻

You'll start boarding a ship to navigate across Lago Rico for 20 minutes, descend on the opposite coast with the stunning south face of Glaciar Perito Moreno in front of you.

You will be welcomed by expert mountain guides, who will lead you to a cozy shelter with a privileged view of the glacier. After a safety and tech briefing, you will be fitted with helmet, axe and crampons to begin the great adventure! You will start by walking along the coast of the lake, slowly getting deeper into this endless mass of ice keeping your eyes on the glacier so that you do not miss any ice calvings, cracks and caves.

At the end of the trek, you will enjoy a panoramic view of Glaciar Perito Moreno, the mountains and the lake. Before the adventure finishes, you will be delighted with chocolates and whiskey on glacier ice!

Latin American Traditions to celebrate New Year 🌟🍾

✴️In Argentina, women wear new pink underwear to attract love, prosperity, and good luck.

✴️In Brazil, people choose to dress in white to ward off evil spirits and they head to the ocean, to offer gifts to Yemanyá, the Goddess of water who will ensure good luck.

✴️In Chile, they eat lentils at midnight to bring work and money throughout the year, and they also sweep the house from the inside out to remove negative energies.

✴️In Colombia, people walk around the block with an empty suitcase to travel throughout the year.

✴️Ecuador's tradition is to make a rag doll, set it on fire, and thus burn away all the negativity from the old year and welcome the new year.
