🌳 Say Bosque: 100,000 New Native Trees in Patagonia 🌳

Today, the air in Patagonia is purer; our forest is now a reality. This achievement is thanks to the hard work and dedication of our amazing team, every traveler who trusted us to create the trip of a lifetime, every community that welcomed us, and every operator who supported us.

🌱 At Say Hueque, we strive to share our vision of contributing to a more loving, respectful, and conscious world. Each tree we plant is more than just an action. Reforesting starts a cycle of life; it's about connecting with nature and ourselves. This is what regenerative tourism is all about, and it drives us every day.

We will keep planting. Thank you for making it possible! 💪

How to travel like a local in Buenos Aires? AR

🧉 Drink Mate: It's more than a simple beverage like tea or coffee; it's a social ritual and communal experience. Visit any park in the afternoon, and you'll see groups of friends with flasks of hot water, enjoying mate while chatting, sharing stories, and relaxing together

⚽ Football is more than just a sport. Experience the phenomenal atmosphere during a local match. Learn the songs and chants, and scream "¡Gol!" alongside local fans.

🥖 Eat at the Riverside Stands: A popular guilty pleasure in Buenos Aires is to go for a choripán (sausage in bread) or a bondiola (pork) sandwich at one of the many food stands on the northern and southern riversides.

🫶 Dance Tango: While not all porteños are tango dancers, experiencing tango in Buenos Aires brings you closer to its roots. Discover authentic milongas that welcome everyone, from beginners to experts.

🍝 Bodegón Experience: The perfect spot to enjoy hearty traditional food. Don't miss the milanesas with fries, tortillas, calamari, flan with dulce de leche, and of course, the asado.

Which one will be your first "porteño experience"? 👇

🗺️ Experience the Extreme Beauty of Patagonia - in 3 off the beaten treks 🧭

😮 The O Paine Circuit (8 days/7 nights): For experienced trekkers, we suggest the O Circuit. This route lets you not only experience the W Trek’s highlights, like Glacier Grey and the Towers viewpoint, but also camp in the more remote areas of the park, such as Dickson and Los Perros. The John Gardner pass is challenging, but the expansive views of the ice field make it all worthwhile

🦌 The Huemul Circuit (4 days/3 nights): The Huemul Circuit is quickly gaining popularity as one of El Chaltén’s top multi-day treks. It's a tough adventure with two river crossings on zip lines and heavy packs to carry, leading you completely off-grid with only basic campsites. You'll enjoy rugged trails, traverse glaciers, take in views of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, and watch glaciers drift on Viedma Lake.

🏞️ Las Horquetas Circuit (6 days/5 nights): This is a wilderness expedition through Chile's Aysen region: deep forests, alpine meadows, and turquoise lakes to behold the Cerro Castillo National Park's glaciers and peaks. The famous Green Lagoon has the most breathtaking view to end the adventure.

Which trek will you try first? 👇

Today we celebrate one of Argentina's stars: Malbec🍷. But did you know that behind each glass lies much more than just a wine?

Originally from France, Malbec arrived in the country with immigration, bringing with it not just a tradition of wine but also a legacy of vineyard cultivation. From north to south, it thrives in the soil, adapting to each region, becoming the most cultivated grape variety in the country and the very identity of Argentine viticulture, expressing the rich diversity of its land.

On this World Malbec Day, let's toast to the stories in every bottle, to the passion of the winemakers, and to Malbec's role as an ambassador of Argentina's landscapes, people, and culture worldwide.

A must-try during your trip to Argentina. Cheers!

Once again, our team embarked on a new reforestation journey in Cholila, the first of this year, to witness our Say Bosque project flourish 🌱. Alongside our friends from and 90 volunteers, we delved into the earth to plant 4,000 trees in fire-affected areas in Patagonia.

Even days after returning, we still feel our cherished Patagonia's gifts: the soil in our hands, the chill on our faces, moments of sunshine, and, above all, the enduring smiles on our faces, eager to witness the regeneration of the damaged forests.

This year, our aim is to plant 100,000 native trees by Pachamama Day, August 1st, and we are closer to our goal!

🧡 Thank you for supporting us on this regenerative journey. Learn more at www.100000treesproject.org

We believe that travel is a powerful tool for making a positive impact on the places we visit, and we understand that sustainability alone is not enough. That's why we are dedicated to regenerative tourism, aiming to replenish the impact generated through our travels and raise awareness about the destinations, communities, and nature they inhabit.

Our journey to regenerative travel so far:

🌱 We plant trees to offset CO2 emissions from travelers during their land-based trips.
💧 We offer trips free of single-use plastics.
♻️ In our operations, we prioritize composting waste and minimizing paper usage.
🌿 We work closely with local communities, respecting the biodiversity and cultural richness of the destinations we explore.

In March, we join the celebration of B Corp Month. We are proud to be part of this movement that looks forward to a better future!

There are waterfalls, and there are 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀! 💦🍃

Iguazú Falls is one of the 7 Wonders of Nature. The name “Iguazú” means “big water” in the indigenous Guaraní language, and the falls certainly live up to this name as they form the largest waterfall system globally.

Experiencing the power and intensity of the waterfalls, which create a mist resembling a rainbow and a deafening roar that can be heard miles away, is truly thrilling.

Say Bosque: Into the Roots 🌱

Every step in our "Say Bosque" journey is a vital one. Today, let's delve straight into the heart of it: the seedlings. The enchantment begins at the "Los Cipreses" nursery in Lago Puelo, where Coihue and Andean Cypress seedlings undergo meticulous cultivation for one or two years before they are ready to find their home in the forest.

Patience and care are paramount here, as each emerging tree embodies a promise of renewal for our ecosystem. However, the process commences a bit earlier with the collection of seeds from the "mother" trees in the vicinity. Typically starting in January, this captures the very essence of renewal and the cycle of life.

A heartfelt applause to everyone involved 👏. Each tree we plant carries a tale of dedication, and a marvelous community unites to nurture our cherished Patagonia. Special thanks to those who put their hands in the soil and contributed to our mission, and to our supporters for standing with us in realizing our vision to give back to Mother Earth 🌍🧡
