To enter the Mount Aconcagua Provincial Park is necessary to get a Mount Aconcagua Climbing Permits. The same should be handled personally. To purchase the entry permit in advance and should be addressed personally to the building of the Subsecretary of Tourism of the province of Mendoza.

This Mount Aconcagua base camp is 3 hours walk from Lake Horcones trailhead. It is the second office park rangers and medical service. It is advisable to sleep one night in Confluencia, before arriving at Plaza de Mulas to get a good acclimatization. 🏔

The Mount Aconcagua Normal Route presents minimum technical difficulties but it requires an excellent physical condition. There aren’t any permanent snow fields, although the climbers must be well equipped with good double boots, crampons, and ice axe ‼️
