Harpy Eagle!
We had a spectacular encounter with this raptor during our ongoing tour to the amazon rainforest in Brazil.
This is one of the biggest eagles in the world and an endangered species very difficult to see in it’s natural habitat.
An unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of the tour!

The Rusty-backed Monjita is an endemic bird species that can be found in southern and central Argentina, it inhabits the Patagonian Steppe and the monte Brushland, migrating during the winter to the north of the country.

Suddenly, she stood still for a few seconds on top of a log and in that precise moment we knew that she had spotted something that wasn't visible to us. ✴️Just a few seconds later she was jumping into the water to show up with a caiman on her jaws. 🤯One more time, the strength and power of this beautiful creature was unveiled in front our eyes.
