It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear friend and esteemed kayak guide, Natalie Gillis. Natalie was a remarkable individual who enriched our adventures in Antarctica with her expertise and passion. Not only was she an exceptional kayak guide, but she was also a highly skilled polar aircraft pilot, talented photographer, and gifted writer.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family and loved ones during this difficult time. Natalie will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. We honor her memory and celebrate her extraordinary life.

Dear Friends and adventurers…
Today we bring to you something different on board the well-appointed vessel Seaventurer. An expedition designed in collaboration with the Friends of SPRI (Scott Polar Research Institute) and part of the earnings will be for their science and scholarship programs.

The itinerary is : Beyond the Antarctic Circle
The dates : Feb 29th to March 14th 2024, starting and ending in Ushuaia, Argentina

The Impressive panel of lecturers on board :
Dr John Shears, who lead the expedition that found the ‘Endurance’ wreck, Professor Julian Dowdeswell, currently the most influent glaciologist on the planet, Dafila and Falcon Scott the grandchildren of Captain R Scott. Falcon is an important Antarctic historian and Dafila will be running an art program on board. This trip was designed in collaboration with the Friends of SPRI (Scott Polar Research Institute) and part of the earnings will be for their science and scholarship programs.
Darrel will be heading up the operations on board, as well as lecturing and making sure everything runs perfectly. Alongside Darrel will be Celene Pickard and the team from the Friends of SPRI

Not only do the outstanding panel of lecturers make this trip a jewel, but also the time of the season being the ‘Whale’ season, along with amazing sunsets and the goal to cross the Antarctic Polar Circle and visit ‘Dowdeswell Bay’.
