SLEEPY HOLLOW 🐎📖
Washington Irving's book 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' was inspired by a real-life village called Sleepy Hollow. Located in the town of Mount Pleasant in Westchester County, New York. 🇺🇸

Sleepy Hollow can be found on the east bank of the Hudson River, with the village of Tarrytown to the south. Irving lived in Tarrytown, so it’s easy to see why he borrowed Sleepy Hollow for his version of the legend of the Headless Horseman.

The Abandoned Film Set Turned Popular Tourist Attraction in Malta 👀

The movie set was constructed two-to-three miles from Mellieħa, along the coast of Malta. It was left abandoned by the film crew in 1980, now it's a popular tourist attraction all year year-round.

The crew left the area so fast that the film set and numerous props were left behind.

In the year 1644, plague warnings were whispering around the docks of Leith. Despite tough inspection of shipping, the plague snuck into Edinburgh’s city walls causing the 11th and final plague in the city.
By summer of 1645 the Foul Pestilence had been ravaging the city of Edinburgh for months. Edinburgh is in a state of chaos, trade was brought to a standstill and terror was spreading around the city as quickly as the disease was.
