Sardinia offers a large number of beautiful kite spots, especially in the south of the island and on the northern tip.

But Sardinia also has a lot to offer beyond the well-known spots. We found La Chiaccia and the Valledoria Lagoon very attractive.

Valledoria lagoon is almost ideal for beginners or unhooked training, in La Chiaccia the access in the water at “La Locanda del Mare” is tricky, but the wave is a pleasure. And like everywhere in Sardinia, the food there is simply fantastic.

On the beach the typical “Barracas” offer their seafood at affordable prices. We think Maceio is definitely worth a visit.
