We played one of their escape rooms the other day, where we had to work as a team of 4 to escape prison. We loved it so much that we went back a few days later to play some of their other games...and we'll definitely be back again soon!

It's that time of year again - Happy Earth Day! At the Landhaus Bergner Alm chalet and Hütte Waldzeit, we are continuously implementing green initiatives as part of our Sustainability Strategy. We love to do that little bit extra though every year in celebration of Earth Day! 💚🌏💚

✦ So in celebration of Earth Day 2023, we’ve planted 5 Norway Spruce trees on the grounds of Hütte Waldzeit, our holiday hut in Tirol 🌲

✦ We have also now made the full transition to using only organic and eco-friendly cleaning products at both the Landhaus Bergner Alm chalet and Hütte Waldzeit

✦ We continue to fund the planting of a tree for every single booking received at the Landhaus Bergner Alm, and have now funded a total of 743 trees at various offsite locations 🌱

Es ist wieder soweit – Happy Earth Day! Im Landhaus Bergner Alm und der Hütte Waldzeit setzen wir im Rahmen unserer Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie kontinuierlich grüne Initiativen um. Wir lieben es, jedes Jahr zur Feier des Earth Day das gewisse Extra zu tun! 💚🌏💚

✦ Anlässlich des Earth Day 2023 haben wir deshalb 5 Nordmann Tannen auf dem Gelände der Hütte Waldzeit, unserer Ferienhütte in Tirol, gepflanzt 🌲

✦ Wir haben sowohl im Landhaus Bergner Alm als auch in der Hütte Waldzeit jetzt vollständig auf die Verwendung von biologischen und umweltfreundlichen Reinigungsprodukten umgestellt

✦ Wir finanzieren weiterhin für jede einzelne Buchung im Landhaus Bergner Alm das Pflanzen eines Baumes und haben nun insgesamt 743 Bäume an verschiedenen Offsite-Standorten finanziert 🌱

The view from the Heinrich-Schwaiger Haus over the Mooserboden dam and Wasserfallboden dam is incredible. We did a great looped hike at the end of the Saalbach valley, to the Sonnspitze and the Spieleckkogel peaks. It's about 14km and 1,000m ascent with beautifully varied terrain - open meadows, high alpine trails, thick forest and amazing views. You even cross over from Salzburgerland in to Tirol at the Sonnspitze peak! 🌍🌲🌺 Happy Earth Day! 🌺🌲🌍 We love nature and all it has to offer. Access to nature is one of the key driving forces that made us pack up our lives and start completely afresh in the Austrian Alps. We also understand how important it is to do our part to protect what we love. The situation surrounding Covid-19 has highlighted to us even more just how important it is for us to do what we can, where we can. That’s why for the last 12 months, we have been developing and implementing our Sustainability Strategy at the Landhaus Bergner Alm Chalet. And we thought what better way to announce it than Earth Day! 🌿💚🌿 We have developed and implemented various 'Green Initiatives' including the running of the chalet on renewable energy sources; the planting of our very own fruit orchard on the chalet grounds, and the monthly funding of reforestation at offsite locations in order to offset our company's C02 footprint 🌱🌱🌱 We have also invested in bicycles for the chalet to give guests the option to travel green, and have upgraded the apartments to include more eco-friendly products and equipment 💚 These are just a few initiatives in our Sustainability Strategy, so if you’d like to learn more visit the Sustainability section on our website here ➞ https://www.landhausbergneralm.com/sustainability To further support Earth Day in particular and its 2021 theme “Restore our Earth”, we have also interpreted some of the key categories of the 2021 Earth Day Campaign, and implemented them in our own way at the chalet: 🌍 ‘The Canopy Project’ (Plant more trees): As part of our Sustainability Strategy, we’ve funded the planting of 124 trees offsite so far. Our reforestation efforts will be part of a continuous drive, in which we will be funding the planting of new trees every single month. 🌍 ‘Food & Environment’ (Your Footprint): We’ve planted a mini Orchard at the chalet, an herb garden, and are developing a vegetable patch a

Spring powder up on the Kitzsteinhorn today. SOOOO good! ❄️🏂❄️ Frühlings Pulverschnee auf den Kitzsteinhorn heute. So super!!!

Beeeeeeeautiful conditions on the Kitzsteinhorn, with so much fresh powder! It continued to snow throughout the day, but there were intermittent spells of sunshine too. So lovely! 💙❄️ --- Super schöne Bedingungen auf dem Kitzsteinhorn, mit so viel frischem Pulver! Es hat dan ganzen Tag lang weiter geschneit, aber es gab auch ab und zu Sonnenschein. So toll!

Stunning views on the Kitzsteinhorn today 🤩 The lift is just 10 minutes drive from the chalet, so we spent the morning shredding in the fresh pow!

Who else loves sledging!? It's such a fun way to spend the afternoon, or even evening after a full day on the slopes. These clips are from a whopping 14km toboggan run that is just a short drive from the chalet, where you cover 1,300 vertical meters in decent. There are traditional Austrian huts at regular intervals, where you can stop off for dinner or schnapps, or even just take a flask of Glühwein in the rucksack like we did to enjoy on the way down! Happy sledging ❄️🛷❄️ --- Wer liebt Schlittenfahren? Es ist so eine tolle Art, den Nachmittag oder sogar den Abend nach einem Tag auf der Piste zu verbringen. Diese Clips stammen von einer satten 14 km langen Rodelbahn, die nur eine kurze Fahrt vom Chalet entfernt ist, wo man 1.300 Höhenmeter herunterfährt. In regelmäßigen Abständen gibt es traditionelle österreichische Hütten, in denen man Abend essen kann oder Schnaps-Stops machen kann oder man nimmt einfach eine Flasche Glühwein im Rucksack mit, wie wir es auf dem Weg nach unten genossen haben! Viel Spaß beim Schlittenfahren ❄️🛷❄️

So much fresh powder on the Schmittenhöhe today! It had snowed all night, and continued throughout the day, which meant AMAZING conditions on the snowboard. We spent all day playing in the pow pow, and thought we'd share some clips with you ❄️🏂❄️
