The mountains are calling!! The Kitzsteinhorn glacier is due to open for Skiing in mid-October at Zell am See-Kaprun.

With a proposed opening date of the 12th of October, this little lot will be well received.

On a hot sunny day, it is wonderful to enjoy the lake at Niedersill, lovely to swim in, with a water assault course for the more adventuress. It is located between Visit Zell am See - Kaprun and Mittersell.

The largest totally preserved fortress in Europe that has never been conquered - Hohensalzburg castle in Austria. It is also the first hilltop castle in the world that got a funicular back in 1500. The castle was built in the 11th century, later the massive Romanesque fortress evolved into a gothic castle that took on renaissance traits with the passage of time. Basically the looks of the castle date back to the 16th century. 200 years later it possessed 415 mortars, 590 cannons as well as had some 100 sets of fill equestrian armor and over 1000 breast plates, helmet barbs and spears
