Schöckl is around 15 minutes drive from Schustergraben Hütte and there is so much to do there 💜
Such amazing views all year round and you can hike up if you're feeling fit.
You can also hire Ebikes at the lake just 5 minutes walk away from us 🚲
There are two restaurants at the top and a few other surprises too

I know it's hot in the Graz area right now but there are lots of shaded areas in this garden, and the lake down the road is so refreshing for a swim 🏊☀

We highly recommend this restaurant in St Ruprecht an der Raab.
It's part of a Hotel and Spa and the food is amazing

Today is a bar b que kind of day 🔥
Papa Kohl built this bar b que in the late 80's and we made good use of it ever since.
It's waiting for you to use too if you need a few days or even weeks away in this beautiful quiet corner of Steirmark 🌻💛
Papa also made the amazing stained glass window in the front door ✅ thought you may like to see it 👍

It's 27° in Kumberg today just the right temperature for painting the gate. Not even sure what colour we painted it 😂
We have found someone who can come and clean the well but if anyone wants to bring their own drinking water for now you can book dates here on Facebook. Yeah!!!!
Don't worry the water is safe we just don't recommend drinking it until the well is shiny and clean 💦

Our little 2 bed house in the woods will soon be available as a holiday let. It's perfectly situated in the village of Kumberg and 25 minutes drive from Graz. Just 5 minutes stroll down the road is a lake for swimming or relaxing in the cafe. For the more energetic there is paddle boarding, tennis, volleyball and eBike hire. A short drive away Schöckl has a cable car for an easier way up the mountain with lots of activities and beautiful views.
