🎉 What a treat to be joined by a traditional Bavarian schuhplattler group all the way from New York this morning! Of course, we couldn’t resist asking for a quick demonstration at the Sound of Music gazebo! 🌟 Their lively performance truly brought the Bavarian spirit to life. Danke schön! The Schuhplattler is a traditional style of folk dance popular in the Eastern Alps, specifically originating in Upper Bavaria, Tyrol, and Salzburg. In this dance, the performers stomp, clap, and strike the soles of their shoes, thighs, and knees with their hands held flat. #BavarianCulture #Schuhplattler #SoundOfMusic #cyclecities #frauleinmariasbicycletour

Then this tour is for you! We, Salzburg's only bicycle tour, charge less than the bus tours, but offer you so much more. We take you to places other tours will only show you from the road. We take you to locations buses can't even reach.

You don't need to be a The Sound of Music fan, or even to have seen the film to love our tour!
