Winter update.

Post Costa Rica we've been up in the Mountains around Flachau, enjoying the local Oktoberfest and biking the Ennsradweg.

Only another 8 weeks until the season kicks off. What have you been up to over the Summer? We have been topping up the holiday fund with work in the UK and Costa Rica.

It's been a strange winter season. Plenty of snow throughout the winter months but interspersed with heavy rain and high temperatures in February. Despite that, bookings were up on previous seasons. the ski schools have never been busier and even though you can't ski to the village this week, we have our Belgian guests here en-masse.

Thoughts now turn to the Summer Season and that too is looking great. We are booked out from 7th July to 21st August already but either side of those dates is a great (and quieter) time to enjoy the Alps, the Salzburgland Lakes and the city itself. Just click on the links to book.

For next winter we have reserved three weeks in March '25 for friends and family. We can offer great "mates rates" for those not fixed by school holidays. Email us direct for details.

Here in Flachau we are looking at the best start to the season for many a year. Here's the view this morning.
If you are driving down this season, be aware that there are significant Roadworks on the A10 between Salzburg and the Ski Amade area. The local taxis are saying that the journey could take anything between an hour to 3 hours longer on changeover days.
There is a new bus service from Salzburg Airport to Eben Park and Ride on Saturdays throughout the season. Details here:

You can then pick up your shuttle to the various resorts. Good option and cheaper than booking a ride from the Airport.

For those of you looking to book early for the next ski season, we are working with our Danish Partners for the 23/24 Season. As a result, we are not taking early bookings this year. But, we will be posting last minute deals as they come up.
