With my amazing guests from Belgium last week at the Golden Hall. Next to the Baroque Karlskirche stands Vienna’s most famous centre for classical music, the Musikverein. Due to extremely high demand, tickets for the three traditional end of year concerts are drawn by lot. Music lovers from all over the world (500.000 - 600.000 people) apply every year in February to take part in the drawing for tickets. Only about 2000 lucky applicants are allowed to buy the tickets at the end 🎈

I ❤️ Wörtersee, Carinthia’s largest lake! Luckily, it is located only a short car ride away from my father-in-law’s house. You can easily reach it by train from all major Austrian cities. Klagenfurt, the capital of Carinthia lies on the lake with the airport just 15 minutes away.

With temperatures of up to 28° C / 82° F it is one of the warmest lakes in the Alps. There are many fish in the lake, so you might feel like swimming in an aquarium 🏊‍♀️🙂 In the evening, visit one of the hip beach bars or first-rate restaurants and watch the sun set over the lake with a cocktail in your hand ☀️🍸🎈

Nach 4 Jahren voller Spaziergänge & Besichtigungen nahm ich im Monat Mai von meinen wunderbaren Gästen der Firma Dr. Bähler Dropa aus der Schweiz Abschied. Ich wünsche diesen äußerst sympathischen Menschen weiterhin viel Spaß auf ihrer Entdeckung anderer europäischen Städte. 🎈
