On March 4th, .career invited 6 SCM students to a workshop event at its premises in Vienna. Inverto is one of the leading international consulting companies for procurement and supply chain management with offices in Europe and Asia.
At the beginning of the event, Michael Strohschneider (Principal) introduced Inverto to the students and gave an overview of current challenges that various industries are facing in the areas of procurement and supply chain management. In addition, (Consultant), a graduate of the SCM master program, and Julia Schreitl (Senior Consultant) shared their practical experiences from various consulting projects with the SCM members, giving interesting insights into their daily work at Inverto. Following the company presentation, the workshop participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their practical skills by working on a real business case of a German food retailer. The results were presented by each group which was followed by a joint discussion with the Inverto team. Claudia Pichler (Talent Acquisition) closed the official part of the agenda by outlining the promising career opportunities that await ambitious students at Inverto.
After the official part of the event had ended, the SCM members were invited to have a casual get-together with coffee and snacks, allowing for further interesting discussions about supply chain management, consulting and potential career opportunities.
