Immerse yourself in a fascinating tradition in Zell am See! 🌲💦 On 25 December, we experience the unique Christmas tree diving - a ceremony in honour of the deceased and as thanks for a safe season.

The ASBÖ Zell am See water rescue group lights the lights on a sunken Christmas tree at a depth of 15 metres, a spectacle that begins in the darkness of Oberschneider Bay near the Grand Hotel. Accompanied by brass bands and the sound of 'Silent Night', the illuminated tree is retrieved from the depths of Lake Zell. 🎶

Come along and be part of this wonderful evening - the meeting point is at 17:00 on 25 December 2023 in Oberschneiderbucht. 🍷✨
