How to make our beautiful Autumn Watercolour wreaths!
What you will need:
Watercolour paper
A pine cone
Paint brushes
Scissors
PVA glue or flour and water mix for a eco version
Paints
Raffia (enough to make a bow)
Heavy cardboard (recycled boxes work well!)
Cut out a large circle from the heavy cardboard
Cut another hole in the centre to form our Wreath Base
Using watercolour paper, cutout various shapes of leaves
Have your child paint the leaves using their watercolour paints
Whilst they are drying we can gather as many different natural leaves as possible. This is a beautiful mindfulness activity that encourages us to explore shape, colour, texture and learn about the trees that they fall from
Once the watercolour painted leaves are dry we can glue them on the Wreath Base
We can add some natural leaves to the Wreath base also by gluing them on
Finish off by adding a raffia bow and a pinecone in the bottom centre of the Wreath! 🍁🩷
Our new Dough Club order arrived from @timetobesensory and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Their consistently beautiful hard wearing handmade dough delivered to us each month! So easy and so much fun! We are loving the little mix ins especially this months pretty seashells for us! So excited!! 🌻✨These are perfect for educators and homeschoolers and we can’t wait to use them in our Pre School groups!
Our swan plants in the yard continue to bless us with these tiny miracles of life. My husbands grandfather used to have a atrium and breed Monarch butterflies. It was truly amazing to witness the life cycle of these stunning creatures and memories he treasures from his childhood too. How wonderful to create this habitat in his honour and give life to these creatures in a way that creates those same beautiful memories for our own children 🩷✨🦋 For Peter ✨🦋

The most beautiful Fairy Enchanted Garden Potion Party happened on the weekend! It was such a perfect morning, blue skies, birds chirping, water in the creek and a magical vibe all around. The children dressed up and were enthralled in creating their own bubbling petal potions and eco bubbles! With Banksi our beautiful BubbleFairy! The popularity of this event was overwhelming we definitely need to make it even bigger and better next time and already have a new event for Feb 12th due to popular demand ✨🩷🍄 Thanks so much to all who attended and made this event as magical as could be!
