Hello from one of Australia's most unique species, the yellow footed rock wallaby 👋

This little guy was spotted in the Flinders Ranges, which is home to the largest colony of yellow footed rock wallabies Australia 🦘 These furry animals are found in semi-arid landscapes, sheltering in small caves during the day and coming out to feed on vegetation in the late afternoon 🌱

These distinctive wallabies are identifiable by their unique coat markings - with orange-yellow ears, forearms, and feet, they are one of the most colourful members of the kangaroo family 🌈

There's something magical about witnessing a sunset over Kanku-Breakaways Conservation Park in South Australia's golden Outback. ✨

Sitting 25km north of Coober Pedy, the area forms part of the traditional country of the Antakirinja Matuntjara Yankunytjatjara people.

The co-managed conservation park covers almost 15,000 hectares of majestic arid scenery, filled with coloured hills, flat topped mesas and gibber covered plains (locally referred to as "moon plain").
